  • 240 g tuna  (canned, drained)
  • 30 g of breadcrumbs
  • 30 g grated Gruyère cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper , to taste

1. Preparing the zucchini:

  1. Wash and grate the zucchini (you can also cut them into small cubes if you prefer a different texture).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the grated or diced zucchini for about 5 to 7 minutes, until it loses some of its water. Season lightly with salt and set aside.

2. Preparing the cake mixture:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (gas mark 6-7).
  2. In a large bowl, break the eggs and beat them with a whisk.
  3. Add the well-drained tuna and coarsely crumble it into the mixture.
  4. Add the breadcrumbs, grated Gruyère cheese, and sautéed zucchini. Mix well until smooth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
