My Halloween Decorations Were Destroyed Overnight — and I Knew Exactly Who Was Behind It

As the night went on, watching my children run through the yard chasing bubbles and showing off their costumes, I felt something shift inside me. The heaviness I’d been carrying for days finally lifted.

I felt like I could breathe again. Like I could feel happy again.
