  1. Swollen feet? A sign of circulatory imbalance:

One of the common symptoms of liver dysfunction is edema , which is a buildup of fluid in the lower body, especially the feet and ankles. This may be accompanied by a feeling of heaviness or even pain at the end of the day.

Why? Because a weakened liver can disrupt blood circulation and cause  portal hypertension , abnormally high pressure in the veins that supply the liver. As a result, your feet become silent witnesses to a larger imbalance.

  1. Persistent itching: a message from the liver:

Itchy  feet , sometimes intense and without a visible rash, can be a sign of  excess bile in the body . This happens especially when the bile ducts are blocked or impaired, as in certain cholestatic liver diseases.

If this itching often appears at night, or for no apparent reason, it deserves a little check-up.
