- Fertilize it properly . For the plant to flower, it needs to be well-nourished. Add a natural fertilizer or compost. To give the plant a boost, you can apply an African violet fertilizer once a month, in spring and summer.
- Water it properly . One of the biggest mistakes in caring for the Jade tree is overwatering. Water the plant only when you notice that the soil has become completely dry.
- Expose it to the cold . Some experts have shown that placing the Jade tree in a cool corner of the house during late autumn helps it bloom.
The Jade tree plant should be placed in a bright corner but not exposed to direct sunlight, which could burn its leaves.
While there are plants perfect for the kitchen or bathroom, the Jade tree isn’t one of them. Excess humidity and heat will harm the plant and prevent it from flowering.
