Despite their tiny size, lemon seeds hold surprises beyond imagination. Not only do they have health benefits, but they can also be useful around the home and in gardening.
The magic of germinating lemon seeds:
Many gardeners and plant lovers already know the charm of germinating fruit seeds, and lemon is no exception.
Imagine growing your own lemon tree from scratch. It’s a truly rewarding experience! And the process is simpler than you think.
- Wash the seeds to get rid of any residual pulp.
- Dry them gently and carefully remove the outer skin using tweezers.
- Place the seed in a container with damp cotton. Make sure to keep the cotton moist, and in about a week, you’ll see a small green sprout emerge.
- Once the roots are well developed, it’s time to transplant the sprout into a pot. Make sure it’s in a well-lit location, but not in direct sunlight.
