Moving can be stressful, can’t it? The packing, the heavy lifting, and the ever-appearing boxes that come out of nowhere and reproduce themselves. Thankfully, it has really helped with having my husband around to help lift and remove things. We just changed houses and it has been quite the adventure moving to a new area. Now that we are in the process of settling down, we are concentrating on ensuring that our new home feels like a home, beginning with the decoration of our porch.
As we were unpacking, I started to notice some strange things about our new neighborhood, the porch lights. I noticed a red porch light next door. I was a little ambivalent about the green porch lights, I had heard something about them being a recognition of veterans but I was still uncertain about the red. And then I saw it, a blue porch light. I was used to white and yellow lights, and didn’t know what the blue light meant.
Well, of course, I had to look up the meanings of the various colors of the porch light, and here is what I discovered about the blue porch light.
